The purpose of National Lymphoma Awareness Week, founded by the Lymphoma Research Foundation of America, is to increase public awareness of lymphoma, the second most rapidly-rising cancer in the US, and to facilitate outreach to lymphoma patients and physicians specializing in treatment of the disease.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition of this, we have included a number of articles pertaining to the prevention and early detection of this malignancy that we think you will find useful. There are over 147,000 new cases and 57,000 deaths annually from this disease in the US alone. Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable of all cancers. Talk to your physician about your screening options and how you can decrease your risk of developing this disease.
