National Cancer Survivor's Day, the world's largest and fastest-growing annual cancer survivor event, is dedicated to celebrate the lives of all people around the world who are living with a history of cancer, and to focus attention on the issues of cancer survivorship. The nonprofit National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation supports hundreds of local hospitals, support groups, and other cancer-related organizations throughout North America that hold National Cancer Survivors Day events by providing guidance, education, and networking.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition of this, we have included a number of articles pertaining to the prevention and early detection of this malignancy that we think you will find useful. There are over 147,000 new cases and 57,000 deaths annually from this disease in the US alone. Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable of all cancers. Talk to your physician about your screening options and how you can decrease your risk of developing this disease.
