Summary - Establishes the Pancreatic Cancer Research and Education Project Act of 2002, to be administered by the State Department of Health Services until 01/01/2008. Also know as the Dr. Ronald Hockwalt Memorial Pancreatic Cancer Research and Education Project Act of 2002, this act provides grants to non-profit agencies conducting research into the development of improved methods for detecting and treating pancreatic cancer and to increase public education about the disease.
